Abstract

A portable, collapsible artist's easel apparatus ( 10 ) including a framework member ( 20 ) that pivotally supports a compartmented receptacle member ( 40 ) equipped with at least one easel tray ( 45 ) that may be disposed in a cantilevered fashion relative to the receptacle member ( 40 ) wherein, a pair of extensible leg members ( 25 ) ( 26 ) are pivotally connected to the framework member ( 20 ) which is further associated with a pair of flange elements ( 60 ) ( 60 ) which are pivotally connected to a rear leg member ( 29 ) and a canvas support unit ( 13 ).
