Original abstractA dispensing device ( 1 ) comprising a reservoir ( 3 ) for storing a fabric cleaning fluid ( 9 ) having a viscosity of over 10 Pa.s at rest or under an applied stress of up to 10 Pa, one or more dispensing orifices ( 13 ) in fluid communication with the reservoir ( 3 ), a movable platform movable ( 11 ) by means of a screw mechanism ( 19 ), whereby rotation of a screw ( 21 ) advances the movable platform ( 11 ) against the stored, fabric cleaning fluid ( 9 ) thereby dispensing a metered dose of the cleaning fluid ( 9 ) from the reservoir ( 3 ) to be dispensed via the dispensing orifices ( 13 ).
