Original abstractA mounting plate is provided for a linear damper with a cylinder, a piston, and a piston rod. The cylinder of the linear damper is held between holding jaws of the mounting plate. The holding jaws of the mounting plate form a movable bearing in which the cylinder is axially displaceable. A stop is provided, which is made at least partially of a material with rubber elastic properties, which strikes against the cylinder of the linear damper during damping.
