Original abstractA portable workstation, in one embodiment, includes a base unit and a table. The base unit includes one or more vertical support members and a platform extending horizontally from the vertical support member. The platform forms the top of the base unit in an upright position. The table is configured to extend from the top of the base unit and includes a support leg. The table transitions between an extended position and a storage position. When the table is in the extended position, the table provides support to the base unit of the workstation, forming an integrated tripod system. Thus, the base unit may be compact and easily transported in a storage position; however, the platform and the table when extended may provide an ample work surface at a traditional working height. The base unit may include a frame structure and may be transported on wheels or carried like a back pack in certain embodiments.
