Original abstractA protective case with a combination hinge and swivel connector for the lid. The lid opens in clamshell fashion and then swivels around and folds down over the back of the case so that the back of the shell nests in the lid. The lid, when folded back in this manner, provides a comfortable surface for holding the open case in the hand.
