Original abstractSome embodiments of the present invention disclose a shelving system having one or more support posts with a plurality of shelf connectors connected to the side of the support post. The connectors can be rigidly secured to the posts and/or can extend through the post and have a portion protruding from both lateral sides of the post. One or more shelves can attach to one or more of the shelf connectors at a variety of heights and extend in a variety of directions with respect tot the support post. These shelves can have a plurality of fingers for connection with laterally-extending support pins mounted to the support posts. Some embodiments also employ shelf brackets having bearing surfaces to distribute load from the shelves tot the vertical support posts.
