Original abstractAn expandable cabinet furniture, especially a television cart, has laterally separable, usually rectangular solid cabinets and one or more extensions, typically shelves, slidably received in and supported by slots, rails or guides of the cabinets. The tops, shelves, or bottoms of the cabinets conceal the portions of the extensions that are received in the cabinets, either behind detail moldings or within false bottoms or hollow shelves.
