Original abstractA device for controlling the unraveling of a toilet paper roll having a hollow core. The device includes an elongated body sized to extend through the hollow core and to permit rotation of the toilet paper roll relative to a holder. A first end portion and a second end portion of the elongated body is accessible at the hollow core. A lead or strap connects to the first end portion of the elongated body, extends around and applies pressure to the toilet paper roll, and connects to the second end portion of the elongated body.
